Gidget Earle, a California native, accomplished seamstress and artist since childhood, graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 1985 with honors.

After surviving years as a designer in the garment industry of Los Angeles, she opened a leather business known as “Hognoggin”, featuring custom leather helmet covers, apparel and accessories.

Her career as a plush designer began with Applause (the beloved gift and collectible company) in 1998. She was responsible for building three dimensional soft sculpture prototypes through her extensive knowledge of pattern making and sewing. After leaving Applause, she was hired by MGA Entertainment to work on the “Bratz” fashion doll line.

Gidget is currently self employed as a costumer for Sideshow Collectibles. Her other clients include E-mak (formerly Equity Marketing), Morbid Industries and Disney Consumer Products.
